RESEARCHER. EDUCATOR. WRITER. FOUNDER.

Stories, creativityand the humanside of work.

I’m Bruce Jahandideh, a sales researcher, writer, educator and founder. Through books, research and teaching, I explore how people create, communicate and make decisions.

THE THREAD THROUGH MY WORK

It starts
with people.

What happens when ideas meet real life?

For me, it begins with people: a conversation, a decision, a different way of seeing. Some questions become books or articles. Others lead to research, or into a classroom full of perspectives. This is where those parts of my life meet.

Start with the books

03 / RESEARCH & IDEAS

What moves
people?

I study storytelling, sales management and creativity: how sellers build trust, how buyers make decisions and how new ideas gain a foothold.

Choose a question to explore

Storytelling

When does a sales story
help a buyer act?

In Bridge, Not Applause, I explore why matching a story to the buyer’s decision matters more than simply telling it well.

INSIGHT FROM THE MANUSCRIPT

A useful sales story gives the buyer a way to understand a decision and explain it to others.

WHY IT MATTERS

The story must help after the meeting, when the buyer needs to build support without you.

A story they can see themselves in.

Bring it into the classroom.

04 / TEACHING

Make room
for that aha.

Learn the idea.
Then put it to work.

I use stories, cases, problem-based tasks and simulations, with structured feedback to help students explain their choices and improve them.

What will we try today?

Four ways into the classroom.

IN THE CLASSROOM

A company they care about.
A decision they can defend.

In Advanced Consumer Behaviour at Macquarie, students investigate a company they would like to work for, use consumer insights to diagnose a marketing challenge, and recommend what to do next.

05 / ABOUT

Behind the work,
the person.

Bruce Jahandideh in a beige jacket and cream knit shirt

I’m Bruce. I’ve always been interested in what happens between an idea and real life.

Listening first.

Account management, sales and market research brought me close to the questions people ask when they need to make a decision.

Looking deeper.

After industrial engineering and an MBA, I completed a PhD in marketing at Macquarie University, exploring creativity in sales.

Putting ideas to work.

I lead ThirdP Solutions and bring those questions into research, writing and teaching. Storytelling, sales management and creativity are the threads I keep following.
